All MBB systems updated to support new Metrolist status fields

The recent changes to the underlying database by Metrolist created a need for a substantial number of updates to the Buying Buddy systems.
These changes mainly impacted searches for LENDER OWNED and SHORT SALES and our update is now complete.
This article will clarify how you and your clients are impacted.
Whats Changed
Lender Owned
Previous: This was a property feature code (=”le”).
New: This is now a field called Seller Type. See details below.
Short Sale
Previous: This was a field called terms (=”ss”)
New: This is now a field called Approval Conditions. See details below.
Saved Searches and Just Listed Property Alerts
We have updated all references to any affected fields in all databases. This means that all Saved Searches and Property Alerts are executing and working normally using the new data fields. There is nothing for you to do.
Creating new Searches and Alerts with Buying Buddy
All the MBB search forms (v1) and search widgets (v2) are all updated to now include these new fields. These are generally part of the ‘advanced search’ options that consumers will see when they sign in.
Creating Recommended Searches and Alerts in the LAC
If you use the LAC search system to set up Recommended Alerts etc, then you will also see the new fields available in the search form.
Custom Search Forms
If you have created your own custom search forms then this is what you need to know
Version 2 MBB clients (purchased MBB in the last 12 months)
If we created your BLOG site then all yoru forms are updated.
If you created yur own custom forms, then note the following changes:
Short Sales:
Change from ters=ss, to approval_cond=SS
Lender Owned:
Changed from descriptions=le, to seller_type=BANK/GSE
Version 1 MBB (for clients prior to 2009)
Lender Owned
Changed from prop_desc=le, to sellertype=bank/gse
Short Sales
This was not supported in V1.
