Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is a well known way to make your brand well known. It is an important aspect to internet marketing and if you are not using it you could be missing out on many potential clients or customers. Here are some reasons why SEO is important for you.
First off, SEO is what makes your page rank higher up when someone Googles, Bings or uses other search engines a certain topic. Say someone Googles “Denver Real Estate.” This is a very popular search term and you will find that A LOT of pages show up. You have to work on your SEO in order to get yourself ranking on the first couple of pages of such a popular search.
Secondly, without SEO none of the search engines are able to properly pick up your website. If your website is dedicated towards Florida Real Estate but is not properly optimized, a search engine could mis-read it and when someone Googles “Florida carpet cleaners” you could somehow show up! Unless you also specialize in carpet cleaning you probably do not want people contacting you about carpet cleaning.
Another thing to point out is that SEO is constantly changing. This makes SEO important for you because without you keeping up with the constantly changing practices your website is going to fall in rank and you will see your growth in business fall steadily.
